(Work is dedicated to you, for being a true believer in the reality of personal transformation.)
Awake in the sunless morning.
Bare brown feet touch the cold
wood floor.
Hand-me-downs sit idle waiting
for heat and odor to give them form.
Once at work the frigid ground is
unforgiving.
Hands numbed beyond
life give a relentless effort.
Slowly the soil turns seasons to
centuries in a day too long.
Take Care,
Gary
