You’re not living your dreams, realizing your full potential, because fear has stifled your confidence, paralyzing your ambition.
It’s that simple.
How can I make such an assertion with confidence?
Results don’t lie.
If you were living your truth, you’d be living it!
There’s no half way.
You would simply “be.”
There’s no shame in admitting that you’re not where you want to be, that your potential is largely untapped and you’ve been desperately waiting for change to come.
Well, change is here.
And there’s only one way to move your life forward.
Just one!
But first, let’s take a look at Philippe Petit, the famous French wire-walker who traversed the World Trade Center in 1974.
Petit was a known risk-taker, having “walked” noted edifices in his native France, much to the chagrin of authorities. Undaunted, he was inspired by the Twin Towers and dreamt of walking them even before they were completed.
His ambition culminated with a successful walk; even though he’d been up the night before furtively securing wire and calming the nerves of his accomplices. He later reflected on his motivation.
“I read about the construction of the World Trade Center in a magazine in a dentist’s office. At that moment I decided I was going to walk between the towers. I remember every moment of that long quest, and every moment of the walk… It was my dream and the closer I got to it the more I was compelled to do it, rather than feeling doubts.”
Despite his claims, do you think Petit was afraid?
Of course he was! He wasn’t a suicidal thrill-seeker.
But he didn’t let fear stop him from fulfilling his purpose. He’s a passionate artist, and believed the Towers (success) were his destiny. He lived and breathed his goal, making it a reality long before the walk. He would not be discouraged, even by death.
You must have Petit’s mind frame to realize your dreams.
And the one thing you must do?
Don’t let fear stop you. Relentlessly pursue your goals and kick fear in the behind.
